Connection Design

Luminant Energy constructed a new power plant for an estimated $1.8 billion and consisting of two coal-fueled power generation units totaling approximately 1,600 megawatts. Working with Cives Steel Company, Ruby provided over 380 connection details for the new steel being integrated into the existing structure, and connection review and design of reinforcement for over 500 existing steel connections — always with a focus on the most constructable solution.
