AP ComPower and Kansas City Power and Light were installing boiler and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) equipment at this coal-fired plant. Because this equipment is irregularly shaped, Ruby worked hand-in-hand with the owner’s on-site personnel to develop lifting procedures that would utilize available rigging equipment while accommodating congested field conditions.
