The Lucas County Arena is Toledo’s
newest entertainment venue and home of the Toledo Walleyes, the newest
franchise in the East Coast Hockey League. Ruby+Associates provided erection
engineering assistance to Henry Gurtzweiler, Inc., as each 202 foot roof
truss was assembled on top of a shoring tower. Ruby designed horizontal
bracing and anchorage fixtures to provide stability and vertical adjustment
as the roof was completed.
