Dave is the technical
visionary of the firm, with experience that spans over
45 years and covers all aspects of structural design and
construction engineering. Beginning his career as a project
manager with American Bridge Company, Dave’s signature
projects include the John Hancock Building and Standard
Oil Tower (Aon Center) in Chicago, the Astoria Bridge
in Oregon, Embarcadero Hyatt Hotel and Block 230 in San
Francisco, and the Renaissance Center in Detroit.
Jay Ruby,
PE
President, Chief Executive Officer
Jay leads the firm’s
strategic growth. With 20 years of experience in building
design and construction methodology, he has been involved
in new construction, renovations and expansions of commercial
institutional and industrial facilities. His clientele
includes owners, architects, consultants, general contractors,
fabricators, erectors and heavy riggers.
Tricia manages corporate
operations for the firm, including finance, human resources,
technology, and marketing. A graduate from Purdue University
in Industrial Engineering, and a former project manager
with a global supply chain company, Tricia develops and
implements the systems required to support the technical
excellence of Ruby+Associates.
